Celebrating International Women's Day 2025.

I read this poem and have been trying to find who wrote it to credit. It spoke so deeply to me and I keep hearing this is the one to share. So this is shared with love for those who need to read this today....

"A whisper soft, a silent plea,
That once was caged now runs so free,
No longer bound by doubt or fear,
She speaks her truth for all to hear.

Her words are flames that light the way,
Through darkest night and clouded day,
She builds a bridge where walls once stood,
And turns the pain to something good.

With steady hands, she lifts the weak,
Her kindness loud, though few may speak,
She walks ahead and clears the land,
A sisterhood - hand in hand.

Her power grows, her light expands,
Like ocean waves upon the sands,
Each step she takes, each stand she makes,
A revolution in it's wake.

No longer silenced, lost, or small,
She stands with pride, she stands so tall,
For in her heart, the truth was sown -
Her voice was hers, and hers alone.

The world may try to pull her down,
Yet still, she stands without a frown,
For she has learned, her strength within,
Was always there - it starts with her win"
